The couple had a conventional country home, spread on an area of about 6,000 square feet! The mansion which belonged to the late 1930s was sprawled on an area of more than half an acre!

It is none other than Rickey Minor, the former music director of ‘American Idol’!

Let me tell you, that the house contains a 1,500 square foot guest house and is well equipped with a gym, studio and an office.

I think Rickey must be really delighted to become the proud owner of such a magnificent estate.

It seems that the couple made a profitable deal, as they had bought the house for $3.71 million in 2005, and had spent about $1 million, on its renovations!

I am really pleased to know that Sagal has finalized such a deal and now will be focused more on her career.

In FX’s Sons of Anarchy, Katey plays the role of the merciless matriarch of an outlaw motorcycle gang. She won the Golden Globes award, in the category of ‘the best lead actress in a television drama.’ The competition was tough, as the other contenders for the award were equally impressive in their performance. But she outshone several other nominees like Julianna Margulies and Kyra Sedgwick.

But I am sure her die-hard fans are not shocked at all, as she deserved the award. However, the award was announced in the midst of surprises. HBO series ‘Boardwalk Empire’ collected two awards, in its first season only; one in the category of ‘the best TV drama’, while the other was awarded to Steve Buscemi in the category of ‘the best actor in a drama.’ Both the awards were quite unexpected!

Sagal’s win was encouraging for the Sons of Anarchy crew, as the show failed to grab any nomination last year.

Apart from the Sons of Anarchy, Sagal is also well known for her role in Married with Children. In real life she is married to the director of Sons of Anarchy, Kurt Sutter. After getting the award, Sagal paid special tribute to her husband by saying, “Sweetheart, I love you. I’m so glad you’re the boss of me.”
