Hi everyone! Here is some really wonderful news for all you great fans of Futurama. Our prayers have finally been answered. Yes guys, our favorite animated comedy series, Futurama TV Show is going to be back very soon. If you still do not believe it, then pinch yourself, and you will realize that you are not dreaming. The good news is as truthful as the sun rising in the east, every morning!

I know that even though this is something that we have been asking for every day, for the past many years, but now that our greatest wish has finally been granted, it seems so unbelievable. Frankly, when I first came across the news, I just ignored it as a rumor. But then, being a fan of Futurama made me look for the facts. And I just cannot explain the height of my ecstasy when I learned that the news was no rumor, and that Comedy Central has actually ordered 26 new episodes of the show.

Reportedly, thirteen episodes of Futurama will be produced by the network initially, for which production offices have already started working and the casting process has also started. It has also been reported that attempts are being made to finalize the deals with the original voice actors, which include Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, Maurice LaMarche, among others. The new episodes of series are supposed to premiere on Comedy Central sometime in the mid of 2010.

The series had originally been on air for five seasons before it was cancelled in 2003. In 2007, four straight-to-dvd movies of Futurama TV Show were announced, which revived the hopes of its fans that the series might be bought back. And, now that the show has been actually revived it has restored the confidence of the fans in their most adorable TV show.
